Born and reared in the mountains of the Blue Ridge, Kristin moved to Richmond at the ripe young age of 18, with her sites set on design school at VCU. After a brief hiatus spent in the Netherlands, she returned to Richmond, Virginia to finish her studies. Afterward she found herself on ALR’s doorstep, like a baby in a basket, waiting to soak up knowledge. When not preoccupied with life’s essentials, her nose can usually be found in a book, while visions of libraries and ladders abound in her imagination.
